Delicious Mexican food that's not smothered in cheese sauce! Very refreshing. We usually ask our server what they recommend and we've never been given a bad suggestion. So far I've tried the Fish Salad and Pollo Hawaino (twice!) I love the Aquas Fresca Cucumber and Lemon, the perfectly seasoned black beans, charro beans and salsa, which had a nice spicy kick to it.
This is my family's go-to place for eating out. The food is amazing, and really authentic with large portions. I would 100% recommend if you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Last time I went I got the burrito La Terraza and it was huge, and really good.
We arrived with a party of 12 shortly after lunch. We were seated quickly and served promptly. The chips were not the garden variety dipping chips but were chips sturdy enough to scoop with. Unfortunately, the salsa was a little hotter than what we normally get served, so there was no scooping. The portion sizes, except for the chimis, were huge. For an 8 lunch special (see photo), I got a plate full of food, and I was stuffed when I left. I had the grilled chicken enchilada lunch special, and it was excellent. The children's portions were also adequate (see photo).
We came in late and they were great to us! Very fast service and the chips and salsa were really good. They give you big servings so prepare to bring some food home.
Mexican food is my favorite and this is my favorite place in town. Their enchiladas al carbon is phenomenal, and my kiddo loves their Mac and cheese because they use their queso. The Pollo Papa dish is also really great, but I don't have enough stomachs to consume both. Muy Bien.
Absolutely the best Mexican food I’ve had in my life (including when I was in Mexico)! I suggest everyone in or near Columbia eat here. The Cinco de Mayo celebration was phenomenal. I’ve wanted to ride a mechanical bull my whole life, and La Terraza gave me that chance!
My new favorite! I almost don't wanna share cuz there's no wait. It looks like your usual strip mall Mexican restaurant from the outside, but it's not! The menu is different and fun to browse. The staff is super friendly. The chips and salsa come immediately and is house made. Look at the pic of the whole fried tilapia I had last night (poor fella). My family was stealing from my plate. We were all stealing from each others plate, cuz it was new and exciting. The staff is happy and seem to like each other. There's a good mood in the place. Our waitress was lovely and had such a beautiful way of pronouncing the menu items. Try this place. You'll thank me. Makes for a perfect date night or quick affordable lunch. You will not take home a box, because out plates were clean.
Oh god! What an amazing place this is. The servers are so polite and amazing, the food is delicious and the quantity is way more than the cost of the dish. I'm going to ask you try it once!!!
